Issue:

BitDefender v10 cannot be installed on Windows Vista if Service Pack 1 has been applied.

Solution:

The solution is to download and install the corresponding BitDefender 2008 version for your BitDefender 10.
NOTE: The upgrade from BitDefender 10 to BitDefender 2008 is FREE of charge.

If you have a license key for BitDefender Antivirus v10 then you can install BitDefender Antivirus 2008. More information on how to install BitDefender Antivirus 2008 can be found here.

If you have a license key for BitDefender Antivirus Plus v10 or for BitDefender Internet Security v10 then you can install BitDefender Internet Security 2008. More information on how to install BitDefender Internet Security 2008 can be found here.

The BitDefender 2008 products are fully compatible with Windows Vista and Service Pack 1.
