Bitdefender For Unices - Need To Remove

hello,

I use linux now, and I tried your bitdefender for unices. the year just flew right by. it worked great for the whole year. the key has expired and naturally it will no longer update which is understandable.

now I don't know how to remove it.
do any of you guys use linux, and do you know how to remove bitdefender?

help in this matter would be most appreciated.

Please send us your license key. If it's not a commercial one, we'll try to extend it for another year.

hello Alex,

If you are talking about the link 'get a new FREE key for personal use', after clicking that link there are four dialog boxes to fill in, and SEND. there is no opportunity to put the previous key in. I tried to attach this.
I am not complaining. the antivirus was great. it was free. I was lucky. I use linux and probably don't need it, but it's lightning fast and glitch-free. so long as it is available to me, I will use it.

I will try again to apply for a new key and if you're able to, maybe I could PM you my key, or we could work something else out. anyway, I appreciate the reply.

Please fill again the same dialog boxes and most probably your non-commercial license key will be extended for another year.

not yet, and I don't expect it to. when it happens, it's usually less than a minute.

I guess it can't hurt to wait about a week. why not.
like I said before, it was great. but when it is no longer useful it's time to remove it.

Hello James,

If you make another license request, the key must be extended. I think that an error occurred during the registration process. In order to short this process, please insert again the same license key into your scanner.

hello Alex,

your suggestion worked and it appears I have another year of BD for Unices (at least I'm 99% sure of it, I haven't tried using it yet) it SAYS I have been reactivated. Yeeha! I like that program.

I clicked on the 'set new key' and another window popped up, so I typed the old key in and I was granted another 365 days. If it works I will come back to confirm, but it looks good at this point. I need to try to update and scan something with it. this will be a pleasure. smile.gif

will let you know.
