0x80070005 Error During Installing

Hi,

Iím encountering this error during installing BitDefender Client Security v3.5 on Windows 7 OS:

an error occurred during the installation of assembly component (0x80070005).

I would appreciate it if you could give me some guide on how to narrow down this issue.

Hi,

Before installing Bitdefender Business Client please verify if another security solution is still present on the target machine.Having multiple antivirus software is not a great ideea because it will make the OS very unstable.
Also you can turn off the Windows firewall and Windows UAC(user account control).

What option did you use to deploy the Bitdefender Business Client? Try creating an unnatennded package from the Bitdefender Console - Tools - Deployment tool and run it locally on the client computer.

Thanks for reply. What I hadnít noticed was a security application installed on that machine. The issue has been resolved once I removed it.
