Good day people of the palace

I have installed endpoint on some networks, and it works great if you use the install file over network, but I have thought to give the remote install a go. but I do struggle with some secret thing... rolleyes.gif
Background:
Win SBS 2008 - With Active Directory
15 x Win 7 Pro PC's
2 x Old Win XP

Client Security and File security where installed, I have uninstalled both but on the client side I initiated a uninstall of clients before final removal.

All clients side installations where uninstalled.
Cloud Client was created and both 64 and 32 bit install where downloaded, first install was on server self.
I waited for the network discovery to find all the other PC's
Up until here everything went as planned.

Try 1
Created install task for some of the unmanaged computers. With admin user and password for the domain with full access.
Herewith some log entries for task
credcontrol-2 10.0.0.61 Deployment has failed with error code: 2202: The specified username is invalid.
credcontrol-4 10.0.0.53 Deployment has failed with error code: 2202: The specified username is invalid.
credcontrol-5 10.0.0.58 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
credcontrol-6 10.0.0.64 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
credcontrol-7 10.0.0.81 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
credcontrol-8 10.0.0.68 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.

I have played with username a bit, but still not sure what is the problem.
Username 1: Domain\User
Username 2: user@domain.local
Username 3: Local Admin account (with no domain)

The I discovered that the Client security Agent did not uninstall, so I had to manually uninstall this first.
credcontrol-2 10.0.0.61 Deployment has finished successfully
credcontrol-4 10.0.0.53 Deployment has finished successfully
credcontrol-5 10.0.0.58 Deployment has finished successfully
credcontrol-6 10.0.0.64 Deployment has finished successfully
credcontrol-7 10.0.0.81 Deployment has finished successfully
credcontrol-8 10.0.0.68 Deployment has finished successfully

Then I clean the other unmanaged computers as will by uninstalling the client etc.

Try 2
admin-1 10.0.0.51 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
admin-2 10.0.0.66 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
admin-3 10.0.0.63 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
admin-4 10.0.0.75 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
computer-admin 10.0.0.70 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
creditors_1 10.0.0.72 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
creditors_2 10.0.0.71 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
creditors_3 10.0.0.73 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
datacapture-1 10.0.0.80 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
datacapture-2 10.0.0.62 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
member-admin 10.0.0.69 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
orders 10.0.0.54 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
sales-1 10.0.0.52 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
sales-2 10.0.0.55 Deployment has failed with error code: 5: Access is denied.
switchboard 10.0.0.76 Agent was already installed

Here I have missed the switchboard pc, so will need to uninstall client etc first.
Sales-2 was discovered that the domain was invalid, this is an old pc, so I understand the Access is Denied
But again
Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
This Successful error is starting to annoy me now.

Any suggestions and ideas from someone, meanwhile I will still play along.

Please note the manual install works fine and easy, but Remote install is the test here.
Regards

Try 3.6

I have tried installing 10 + in one go so I narrowed it down.
Tried 2 Pc's in one task with username@domain.local
Nothing change on the pc's one was rebooted.

datacapture-1 10.0.0.80 Deployment has finished successfully
datacapture-2 10.0.0.62 Deployment has finished successfully

Try 3.7
Then I tried the other pc's with username@domain.local
admin-1 10.0.0.51 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
admin-2 10.0.0.66 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
admin-3 10.0.0.63 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
admin-4 10.0.0.75 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
computer-admin 10.0.0.70 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
creditors_1 10.0.0.72 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
creditors_2 10.0.0.71 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
creditors_3 10.0.0.73 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
datacapture-3 10.0.0.67 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
filesrv 10.0.0.2 Deployment has failed with error code: 2202: The specified username is invalid.
member-admin 10.0.0.69 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
orders 10.0.0.54 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
sales-1 10.0.0.52 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.
sales-2 10.0.0.55 Deployment has failed with error code: 2202: The specified username is invalid.
switchboard 10.0.0.76 Deployment has failed with error code: 0: The operation completed successfully.

Try 3.8
Then I tried only one pc with username@domain.local
computer-admin 10.0.0.70 Deployment has finished successfully

Try 3.9
Then I tried another single pc with username@domain.local
datacapture-3 10.0.0.67
There is no status here, wil just try again

Try 4.1
Single pc with username@domain.local
datacapture-3 10.0.0.67 Deployment has failed with error code: 53: The network path was not found.
Don't know what is this for, but will try again.

Try 4.2
Single pc with username@domain.local
sales-1 10.0.0.52
No Status

Try 4.3
2 Pc's with username@domain.local
datacapture-3 10.0.0.67 Deployment has failed with error code: 53: The network path was not found.
sales-1 10.0.0.52 Deployment has finished successfully

Try 4.3
3 Pc's with username@domain.local
datacapture-3 10.0.0.67 successful
member-admin 10.0.0.69 successful
orders 10.0.0.54 successful

Summary so far.
When I select to many, it doesn't install, with less than 3 it works.
Sometimes you must just try again and again, like datacapture-3

I would recommend that you uninstall all AV related software manually and the reboot 1 or 2 times. Then try the remote install.
There is still a few PC's that is unmanaged, I will clean them and reboot them before I try the install, just to check if there is a problem with multiply installs

Try 5
7 pc's with username@domain.local
admin-1 10.0.0.51 Deployment has finished successfully
admin-2 10.0.0.66 Deployment has finished successfully
admin-3 10.0.0.63 Deployment has finished successfully
admin-4 10.0.0.75 Deployment has finished successfully
creditors_1 10.0.0.72 Deployment has finished successfully.
creditors_2 10.0.0.71 Deployment has finished successfully
creditors_3 10.0.0.73 Deployment has finished successfully.

All went well, what I did this round I have selected all the PC's with the same setup and same password.

The client works great when it's installed, but these "Failure error code 0: installation succeeded" is a bit frustrating.
