I used to download normal updates for some of my programs.
Out of the blue Bitdefender does not download it any more.
It is checked in the firewall settings to be allowed.

Please help

E J

Hi E J smile.gif

Welcome to our forums.

Could you please tell me which version of Bitdefender are currently using?

Also, provide the name of the application that is blocked from downloading update.

Thank you. Take care.

Hi Christian

I'm using BitDefender Internet Security 2012.

I used to download Gail Howards Lotto Updates via her Lotto Updater, but it is block, and also Windows Defender from Microsoft for OS Windows 7 Pro.

Thanks

E J

Welcome back

Running multiple security solutions on the same PC may affect their proper functionality as they compete for access to the same system resources. Even if they are turned off, there are some active processes running in the background.

We recommend you to uninstall other security solutions in order for Bitdefender to work properly.

Also, for that software, please create an exclusion.

Thank you for your time. Take care.

Hi Mariel

With all the respect, please rephrase the last post because I can not understand it. Which program have you uninstall?

Thank you. Take care.
