Hi,
I met same google went to other unexpected website problem.

I used your recommend Bitdefender to creat a log, but it is too large, 9M. I could not attach it. Could you send me your email and help me out?

Thanks!

Recently the google redirects are caused due to an infected Add-on/Extension in Firefox called: XUL Cache.
You should remove it immediately no matter if Firefox is your default browser or not.

Hello

I am not talking about the extension from the browser, I am talking about the desktop product installed on your machine.

Select Bitdefender tray icon-near the clock-right click on it and choose About. It should be a number there.

Post it here. Thank you.

Hi Cristi,
I sent my log to the link.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/vvy68d

It is always not in the sent box, so I am not sure whether you received it or not.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,
Do you have any idea how to solve the problem now? I am afraid I have to reset my system. My firewall seems not to be turned on.
Best,

Ting
