How To Disable Bitdefender Internet Security 2010?

Hi All,

Can someone let me know how I can disable Bitdefender Internet Security 2010? I need to disable it momentarily for a technical works. Then, I will need to enable it after finishing it. Thanks.

To temporarily disable BitDefender,you need to press the Settings button (upper right corner) and remove all checkmarks under all modules (Antivirus,Firewall,Antispam.. etc).
Hit Apply and OK to save the changes.

Thank you but...there should be an easier way to do this. For example...when I right click on the bit defender icon it should give me an 'exit' option. It would be awesome if you implemented this and it was changed in an update. Thanks.

cool.gif bit of a novice myself, but, try

To temporarily dis-able BitDefender 2011

Click Options top-right,
Select Expert View
Select folder Antivirus (Shield)
And untick box Real-time protection
An option is then offered how long to set the length of time before protection will be re-enabled
