Hi Luis, If the Scan USB devices option in Bitdefender is activated, once plugged, the USB device will be automatically scanned. In case the issue persists and you are unsure if there is an infection, write us at bitsy@bitdefender.com with a bdsys log attached and a few screenshots displaying the effects of this infection. In order to create a bdsys log, use the article below: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/total-security/-490.html NOTE: Please plug the USB device while the bdsys scanning tool is running. Thank you,
  9. Hi Jon, Please write us at bitsy@bitdefender.com and attach a bdsys log for investigation. When the log is being created, please open utorrent to try and reproduce the detection. In order to create that log, follow this article: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/total-security/-490.html Thank you,
  10. Hi JNissen, Please check in the Notification area for an event mentioning the app and if there is a recover button. Please note that if a file was detected, it would not try to move or disinfect the whole program, only the infection. If you cannot find any event or recover that file, write us at bitsy@bitdefender.com, let us know what application was blocked and attach a support tool log for analysis. To create a support tool log, please follow this article: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/-1168.html Thank you,

  13. Hi Sandigo, If you are referring to the WannaCry ransomware infection, please note that the Bitdefender products detect and intercept both the delivery mechanism (the MS17-010 exploitation technique) and the variations of the WannaCry ransomware known to date. A few more details in this article: https://www.bitdefender.com/news/-3289.html Thank you,

  15. Hi Madred, Please open a case on https://www.bitdefender.com/support/ and send us a bdsys log for investigation. Most likely that was a scam attempt that did not contain any infection. We would like to check and make sure everything is in order with a bdsys log that allows us to analyze the system. To create this log, please use this link: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/total-security/-490.html Thank you,
