VSSERV.EXE has suddenly decided to take over all of my CPU tonight! It is staying at 99% of my CPU. Occasionally, other stuff gets a little CPU and I'm able to do stuff... like view a .jpg...
I have BD Total Security V10 Build 247.

Any ideas?

First, scan with another AV to see if you have malware somewhere. Try MOVING ALL unnecessary files to removable media. Scan with BD. See if vserve calms down after the files are off your PC. If that "don't" work, try setting BD to scan only program files, and if that "don't" work, see if you can create a custom list of extensions which will allow vserve to calm down. I "think" (but being a Texan, I teall dunno!), BD is trying to tell you that it suspects a file or extension -- possible BD FP.

Hope that helps. If it DOES NOT help, post on www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32 which is where you can get the hel you need.
