Hi, I recently installed Total Security 2009 on Vista Ultimate, with SP1.

During virus scan the computer jumps to the blue screen of death and reboots.

With the event viewer I can see the error which has occured:
Event ID 6008, unexpected shutdown

This happens only while scanning for virusses, and happens with all the various scan options(deep, full or quick system scan).

I did not have this problem with Total Security 2008.

Any ideas to fix this problem ????

That usually happens when you have another antivirus or antispyware(RARELY) program installed. If so uninstall it.
