I downloaded the uninstall tool from bitdefender.com prior to installing my latest version which is 2009 antivirus. I ran the uninstall tool to remove Bitdefender 8 Professional Plus and then I installed 2009 anitvirus. After these 2 steps were done, I noticed that 8 Professional Plus was still on my desktop. I checked the control panel and it still was in the populated list of prgrams. From the Windows control panel, I tried removing 8 Professional Plus, but it won't uninstall. Also, everytime I turn my computer on, I get XCOMM.dll file is missing. What is the problem here? My antivirus 2009 seems to be running fine, it scans, etc .and is active. Is my bitdefender system running OK even though 8 Professional Plus is still on my computer and I get XCOMM.dll missing error when I sart up?
