Bought the BD Internet Security 3 PC package thing, installed fine on my own computer, tried to install it on my mothers, and it won't install.

It says it's gonna look for a newer version, and then says it can't find bdis.msi. and wants me to run an online scan.

Please download microsoft installer cleanup. Install it and run it afterwards see if you find an entry that looks like this 11.X.XX (where x stands for a number) or for an entry called bdis.msi or has BitDefender in the name. If so select it press on remove confirm the warning. Reboot your pc and try again.
