I am evaluating BitDefender Antivirus 2008, thinking of switching. I'm running the trial version right now, with Windows XP SP2. I've uninstalled my previous AV package. However, whenever I try to download an executable in Firefox, FF hangs. I do not get the same problem when downloading PDFs. I've tried duplicating the problem in IE7, but I can't even get to Google in that, whether the phishing filter is on or off (and it DOES have the permissions it needs in ZoneAlarm). This has only started happening after I installed BD. How can I set it up so everything works again?
