I renewed my licence BDIS2008 for 1 year. In this process I receive a "new" .exe to download and a new licence registration key.

It is NOt clear if I have to install the new .exe or only introduce the new registration key in the already installed product. PLease clarify.

Finally I installed the new .exe over the already installed IS2008 as consequence I have to reintroduce the options included the "friends" from Windows Mail.

When I try to disable the Identity contol (check) and "next" this window stays and nothing changes. Finally I had to respond "cancel"
Please clarify

Sorry for the delay.

You don't need to install the .exe file. Normally you should already have the latest build 11.0.16. To check that right click on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock and press on about. If that isn't the case than you should install the .exe file.

Just entering the new license key is enough in the current version of BitDefender you currently have installed.

Does that always happens? Sometimes it can happen that the communicator service freezes for a few seconds which can result that a change that you made for example disabling a module isn't recorded.
