Hi,

Ever since I switched from another AV program to BitDefender AV Plus 10 my computer has experienced severe performance issues. I have tried to update the engine but this failed since the installation program claimed that it couldn't find bdss.exe in the program file (it was there when I checked).

In several posts a moderator has claimed that upgrading to BitDefender AV 2008 will resolve the issue and is free, however I am not able to use my current license for BD AV 2008 as it notifies me that that license is for another product.

What am I to do?
