The program seems rushed. I like it, but it needs to be more user-friendly. It won't kill you to be more user friendly. There's way too much geekism - a bad thing - happening (with companies and people) in my view.
The info bubble pop ups are missing in some instances. And the gray/ inactive buttons scheme needs re-thinking. The gray is too light and stuff is missed. The scheduling is not a terribly user friendly set up. I just now, after noticing, barely, the light gray button for scheduling, somehow lost the button I clicked. Now there are no scheduling buttons to be seen and clicking on 'return to defaults' didn't bring them back.
Also, Make it clear what buyers are buying. You are aware how it's usually done with the big guys. Why wouldn't you expect new buyers to have expectations based on their experience with those other programs? I was only looking for another year's worth of protection, but got a whole new program, as far as I can see. Which was fine and simple. It just wasn't clear and led to delay as I scrambled to find where you stated 'Here is where you download protection only' or something.
And I don't know what you can do about this, but I don't have a credit card and had to trouble a friend to pop in and fix me up. Is an interac set up feasible?
I think BD is a great program. I'm not competent to really fully assess any program (I'm not tech savvy, although I'm a long time pc user). But, as one who doesn't even earn a living wage, I appreciate the pricing.
Thanks.
