I have scheduled the full system scan to start every morning at 2am but the task never runs (The computer is left on overnight). I have tried duplicating the scan and scheduling that task, it ran once only, even though it was set to run daily. I can kick of a manual full system scan which completes OK.

Any ideas?

what version are you running?

I am running the latest version of Total Security 2008. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the product, this downloaded the latest version of the product. After reinstalling, the scheduled task ran just once and has not run since.

Is this a known issue with BitDefender Total Security 2008? Any answers would be appreciated.

Do you have your power settings so your hard drives are on all the time, never shut off?

I am having the samew problem - i have checked and my HD's are set to never switch off.

I am using Bitdefender Internet Security Suite v10

Any help on this would be greatfully recieved, as i do not like my machine to go without regular scanning.
