Hi,

I have set up a few message rules in Windows Mail (Vista Ultimate) but every time I restart mail the messages are gone.

I've seen a couple of other similar questions from people and they seem to have BitDefender 2008 installed.

Is there a known issue relating to this? Is there a fix available?

Thanks

Nick

Dear NickJ,

If you create rules normally these mails are being moved to a desired folder that you have set when you created the rule. Normally the mails will be moved to deleted items(mails) or in a subfolder called spam.
That is the case how BitDefender antispam rules work.

Best regards
Niels

That doesn't make sense. If I make a rule that states anything from eBay goes into an eBay folder, then it should go in that folder on it's own. What I am saying, yes I can set this up and it works for the first day. After I shut down the computer and restart that ebay message rule will be deleted. I've never had this problem till I purchased bitdefender.
