In firewall/activity window I have noticed one closed port.

since I have problem opening some web pages (log says: [BDFTDIF][DEVIO] Application error. User buffer too small.) I thought that might be a problem.

However, I can not open closed port no matter what I do...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Flukturr,

Go to the zones section of the firewall. You have to click on the latest tab click on the add button select network and type now 192.168.2.10 and by mask 255.255.255 select allow press on ok. On which sites do you have problems? Did you already refreshed these pages? Press also F5. Clear also your internet cache.

Best regards

Thanks for your reply.
Before I had it like this:

I made it your way, but it still doesn't work, and port 192.168.2.16:139 is still blocked...
Should I try anything else?

Dear Flukturr,

Go to the zones tab but select now search on network click on browse. Select the now the blocked port I mean 192.168.2.10 : 139 press on ok. Choose allow. If that fails double click on that new created zone but don't select a separate entry press on ok and choose allow.
Try this if it still fails but you will loose all your firewall rules. Go to the traffic section of the firewall and press on reset profile.

Best regards

That port is shown as blocked because there is rule that forbids listening on port 139 for the system process. You need to delete that rule to unblock it or add a zone for the local network. If you add a zone and the port is still shown as blocked it may be because of a bug in the display dialog, but the port will be allowed.

Anyway, your http problems are not related to the firewall. Try disabling the http scanner.
What pages exactly don't work as expected?

I finally solved the 'http problem'.
The heuristic filter of parental control blocked it!

I didn't figure out how to un-forbit listening on port 139 though...
On home computer (via ethernet, XP) I have it opened, on laptop (via wireless, Vista) it remains closed...
Settings are the same on both computers. Strange. Well, at least internet works ok now.
