My system:
Windows XP Professional x64 with SP2
Software installed: Microsoft Office 2007 with SP1, Adobe Acrobat 8.1.1, Directory Opus 9.1.0.0 and WinRAR 3.71. These are the only 4 software installed in my newly installed sytem.
Both Windows XP x64 and Office 2007 are updated with all hotfixes and the system is a clean system, a newly installed system with no other antivirus or firewall installed before.
After installing BitDefender AntiVirus 2008 11.0.15, Outlook 2007 hung when started, and all incoming mail lost the sender information in the “From” column, that means, the “From” column now became blank, and all attachment became strange coding. Then, when I tried to move my mouse on anywhere on the Outlook user interface, Outlook hung. This happened when I have ticked to scan for incoming mail. However, Outlook 2007 SP1 still hung even after I have unchecked to scan for incoming mail.
Is BitDefender AntiVirus 2008 11.0.15 not compatible with Office 2007 or Office 2007 SP1?
Please note that I am ALREADY using the latest version of BitDefender AntiVirus 2008 which is 11.0.15.
Did anyone have encountered this before?
Thanks,
Chubb
