I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

I have Bitdefender IS 2008, XP Home/SP2. After running a deep system scan, browsing speed slows down. Web pages open slower than normal. The only way to get everything back to normal is to reboot my computer. This doesn't seem like it should be normal behavior.

I have no problems with it. Press on the F5 button. Clear also your temporary internet files you can use ccleaner for it or any similar software. You can download it here.
Don't forget to uncheck yahoo toolbar during installation. Close your browser first. Run the cleaner and let it clean everything. You can temporary uncheck http traffic scanning to do that open BitDefender press on settings once you are in the BitDefender Security Center in the antivirus section press by the shield section on custom and uncheck http traffic scanning and press on ok.

Just an update. My weekly scheduled system scan ran tonight, and the slow down problem didn't appear. Looks like everything is ok. Maybe it was just a one time occurrence.
