Ok, so its been a while since ive been here with any issues.. Bd had been running fine up untill about a month ago... or mabe two..
But it is my internet that crashes someitmes once an hour some time 5 times an hour for about 30 seconds.. and i can't figure out why.. I have uninstalled bd for about two days and havent had a single problem yet (using avast untill its fixed) And i had to run the patch to get my ineternet to stay up in the first place...
So bottom line i finally felt like uninstalling bd to see if it was my problem and it was .. so how do i fix this lovely thing

Well im a little surprized not to see my buddy niels post on this yet.. BUT.. it seems that the issue is either with my router OR my internet in generall.. hmmm It happens a lot less without bd.. but it still happened in the last day or two.. thanks for reading i guess..

Dear Steriods
You should ask at your internet service provider (isp) to test your internet (connection) line. That is the only way you can find out if the problem is with your isp. It could be also an overheating problem of your router/modem. Try to unplug the main powercable for lets say 30 seconds and attach it again.

Ya, my isp is , to put it nicely dumb... The tech support is useless, and i have unplugged my router for 30 seconds and rebooted everything a few times.. this time i let it go for like 1o mins, to clear EVERYTHING out of its memory and what not. It seems to of worked pretty well.
Thanks anyway... Im really glad to see that it wasn't bd.

Dear Steriods
It could also be a modem problem. But I am not a technician that can say that your modem is broken. Only technical people from your isp can do that.

Dear Steroids,
I first recommend that you perform a firmware upgrade be very carefull. Take first a look that you can't save your current router settings. Most of the routers offer such an option. Because it can happen that the current settings got lost when you installed a firmware upgrade. That is just to be safe. I also don't want to let you buy a router when it isn't necessary.
Best regards
Niels
