Hi,
I have been using BitDevender for a couple of months now and the last few days there is a vsserv.exe process that grabs all the available CPU. According to Google search it is BitDevender process. Could anybody please shed some light on this issue?

Are there any specific moments it appears?
As soon as the PC is booted it takes hold of all my CPU.
Unfortunately I can not link it to a specific piece of software.
It happened to me too. But I dissapeared after a while. For me the problem was caused by the modem
software and the way BD was scanning it. You can try to inspect to see what is scanning.

Dear JDP
Open BitDefender, press on settings once you are in BitDefender Security Center,go to antivirus, click on custom you can check the option don't scan files larger then +/- 5mb is the default size. You can uncheck scan boot sector but that is riskfull press on ok. When the problem occurs take a look at the scanned items. If it is always on the same folder you can exclude that folder. By doing this go to the exceptions tab once you are in the antivirus section. Follow the steps.
Best regards
