i know the antiphishing filter works for internet explorer as there is an icon displayed on the upper left hand corner of the browser, but does it work for firefox as well? firefox doesn't display the icon in its browser like explorer does. does that mean it's not integrated with firefox?
Niels
Dear trident

The antiphising protection is only available for Internet Explorer.

Best regards

Will it be available for other browsers in the future?

Speaking of Mozilla products.....I use Thunderbird and see no evidence of the anti spam toolbar that I see in Outlook. (BTW, like trident, I see the anti phishing toolbar in IE). I check the extensions and the bd toolbar is showing as installed but it is grayed out. Is Thunderbird unsupported just like Firefox?

Right now I'm on a trial of Bitdefender Internet Security 2008 and my preferred browser and email products are Firefox and Thunderbird.

I have the same problem (Windows XP SP2). angry.gif I hope someone can answer why the BD toolbar is disabled in Thunderbird, but installed. I also do not have the BD scanning notification popup when sending / receiving email in Thiunderbird, so I have no clue whether my email is even scanned.

The toolbar is on Outlook Express, but I recently switched to Thunderbird.

Perhaps there is a registry edit or patch?

I have just started the 30 day trial of BDIS2008 and was wondering the same thing about Firefox. Interesting that this topic has been active since Dec, the last post prior to mine was Jan 14 and still no answer. Makes me wonder if I really want this. We shall see.
