I have Bdis2008 installed on three computers running under XP. After running the Quick Task Update Now and it installs the updates, if I select Update Now again I get "No update Available" on two of the computers, which is good but the third keeps installing the same updates over and over. I have re-booted and run an Installation repair with no luck. The update files go by very fast but two of them are lang/l_wiz_wellc.ini and us_serv.ini Any ideas?

Try this copy l_wiz_wellc.ini and us_serv.ini from 1 pc that hasn't problems to the lang subfolder in the BitDefender 2008 installation folder. Are the other updates als being redownloaded each time?

These files are language related (to a specific language version of an BitDefender solution) so that is the reason why you don't find them in that particular folder.

The file l_wiz_wellc.ini said it was in use when I tried to copy over it and I could not find us_serv.ini anywhere on my computer.

I decided to do a complete uninstall, after I saved my settings, by using the on-line BitDefender_Uninstall_Tool.EXE and then reinstalling the Bdis2008 program. So far it is working with no problem as I now get no update available after the second run of the "Quick task Update Now" like I am susposed to.
