Hey rolleyes.gif ,
I`ve just Formated my main Drive, so i moved BitDefender over to my 2nd Drive. after the re-installation of Windows i moved Bitdefender back but now i cant re-install it ohmy.gif nothing seems to work at all. sad.gif

Thanks for your time
Niels
Dear Scotty

Did you made an image of your hard disc or not before you formatted your hard disc? If not then it's normal that BitDefender will not work because all registry entries are erased. That is just the same case with other software if you just copied it. Download and use this removal tool for BitDefender. Let it run reboot your pc afterwards and put in the installation cd-rom and install BitDefender again or double click on the installer package.

Best regards

You have only to double click on the installer that you downloaded.

Dear scotty1313

That seems to be the only file thats missing. when i click on the other programs i get the error message Cant find MFC71.DLL or cant find XCOMM.dll this can be solved by re-installing. but with the installation program missing i cant do anything..
Niels
Dear scotty1313

You can download the installers from here:
BitDefender Internet Security
BitDefender Antivirus
Total Security
You have to click on the folder of your country (language). There you can download the installer.
xcomm.dll is part of BitDefender.
For your other issue put in the windows installation cd-rom. Go to start, run, type cmd press enter after that type sfc /scannow and press enter again. Now system file checker will replace or place missing operating system files back.
