A lot of our customers are complain about a lot of problems with IE after installing BD, for istance problems opening .php pages or .jsp pages, problems executing logon on sites or simply tring to donwload files.... anyone notice that??? THANKS A LOT!

I don't have any problems with Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0. I have BitDefender Internet Security 2008 installed.
I can log in without any problems that it the same for downloading and visiting php or jsp pages.
Try to clear there temporary internet files.
Can you please say with wich BitDefender solution and which version they have problems? I mean BitDefender Antivirus,BitDefender Antivirus Plus (which is now discontinued since the new 2008 product line),BitDefender Internet Security or BitDefender Total Security. With versions I mean 2008,10,11,9,8?

OK Neils I must be more precise,
In my own PC (BDIS08 + WinXPProSP2) I had a problem with .hta pages, to resolve the problem I simply de-activate "Examine http traffic"...
The costumer's situation is different (Antivirus2008 + WinXPProSP2), he can't open some pages like www.cartasi.it, he can't complete logon or click some links... something weird.... :|

Can you give an example for such site where you have problems with visiting it? If I have also problems I will report it.
I can visit
http://www.cartasi.it without any problems even with http-traffic scanning enabled. It could be that antiphishing is blocking some log in pages. To resolve that issue rightclick on the BitDefender AntiPhising icon in Internet Explorer press on white list enter the sites that you can't access and press on add. Try to run iefix on that computer. You can download it
here. Unzip it and run it.

We finally find a workaround to this problem
Simply deactivate BitDefender Antiphishing FromTools --->Options --> Programs -->manage add-ons

Try this to see if you can use the antiphising toolbar again
Go to start,run,type this
regsvr32 /u C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender2008\IEToolbar.dll press enter. You will get informed. Afterwards type this regsvr32 C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender2008\IEToolbar.dll press enter.
