whenever i click the security center thing, it says critical warning for security. and when i go to fix it i click fix and it does NOthing! and when i click fix all it doesnt do anything help me plz!

What issues are being reported? It's normal that you can't download updates during a scan so fixing is not allowed at that moment. Are all modules enabled?

im not scanning, and whenever i clikc the security thing it says that

Identity rule,identity control,stealth mode, firewall,and real time protection are disabled, and whenever i click fix or fix all it does nothing like it acts like i didnt even click

Please do this go to start,run,type services.msc press enter Double click on each service that has BitDefender in the name and press on start. Sometimes after an update it take sometime before the services are restarted. If that fails you can't fix it by doing it in the BitDefender Security Center.

Hi Niels,

Hopefully you can help me as well. I have Vista on both a laptop (home premium) and desktop PC (ultimate), both using BD Total Security 2008. No problems on the desktop thus far, with the laptop it orignally worked fine.

Now we have the same problem as "strength" except we have followed your instrctions to no avail. The only part of BD that is stopped is BD Virus Shield, when we click start we get the following message:



We can't fix quite a few of the features including the firewall so any help would be appreciated.
