I'm trying to install bitdefender plus 10, but I always get he error message:

"Service Bitdefender Scan Server (bdss) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services"

I click Ok and then try to see if I can repair the installation, but it says the same error afterwards, only this time is says start instead of install.

Anyway to fix this?
I'm using an administrator account by the way, Windows XP Home Edition 32-bit.
Service Pack 2.

I recommend that you download microsoft installer cleanup. Install it and select the references to BitDefender Antivirus Plus 10 or just a number 10.0.128 press on remove and confirm the message reboot your pc. Download also this uninstall tool. Run it reboot your pc and try to install again.
