Since i installed Bitdefender V10 i can't connect Live Messenger and the error message ( 80048820) indicates firewall blockage, even if the permissions are ok for the program...
Can someone help me with this ?

I've moved your topic to a more appropriate forum section.
You need to create different rules for msnmsgr.exe
You have to open these ports.
So you have to add msnmsgr.exe a few times (making separate rules) but change the protocol (tcp,udp,both) and the ports by following the link I gave.

I am having the same issue. How do you open the ports? I have added messenger a few times already but continue to get the same ( 80048820) blocked ports message.
