Running BD Internet Security 2008.
I get several entries in the firewall traffic activity log thay say:

[BDFTDIF][DEVIO] Application error. User buffer too small.

Any ideas on how to identify what application(s) are causing this error? All the programs seem to be working OK and don't themselves display any errors.

I've got the same error. Is there no solution?

January 22, 2008 and this has not response. I am receiving the same error. It is incredibly cryptic. Frankly, this smells like a product vulnerability and I am now questioning if using BitDefender is really a safe bet! Does anyone have any insight into this issue?

Here's a snippet:

It is not a real error, that message is incorrectly displayed as an error. It happens when you are in the activity dialog of the firewall module. When the interface needs activity information, it will query the driver for it, but it doesn't know how much data it will receive. So if the default it is too small, the driver will report an error and force the interface to retry the query. Don't worry about it.
