I am using Windows XP. Automatic updates are now causing the Antivirus and Identity Control buttons on BitDefender 2008 to show up as red. The Fix Now option does not seem to do anything. I can wait a little bit, restart BitDefender and the buttons magically show as green and everything appears OK. The History folder in BD shows these updates as successful. These updates are also causing timeout errors in my Event Viewer:
