Hi guys,

I've been hunting through the forums searching for a solution to my prob, but to no avail, so hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me! I just purchased Internet Security v10, here in Australia, and it will not update. I have changed the primary update location to 'http://upgrade1.bitdefender.com/' after seeing this in a previous thread but still no updating. The program searches for updates, and once it starts downloading the "total update percentage" displays crazy readings from 0% up to 300011%! My current virus signatures is at 542559 and my engine version is 7.12628. I'm only running Bitdefender's firewall, and my OS is Vista 32-bit.

Anybody have any ideas?

C'mon guys, has anyone got any advice for me???
I'm ready to ditch this product at the moment...
When i spend $100 on a well regarded Anti-virus program, which states "Vista Ready", i should not have to troll through forums looking for answers and messing with the program trying to make it run properly. Was i so wrong to assume, "once you install it, you can forget about it!"??

Do you have livesrv.exe allowed to you exception list? That service needs access to the internet to be able to receive update. Go to start,my computer,program files,common files,Softwin,BitDefender Update Service,livesrv.exe must be allowed for both incoming and outgoing traffic.
In the meantime download the updates manually here. Double click on it to install.
