Hi Everyone,

I was curious as to why a person should use software to protect their identity? If I didn't want my credit card #, or SS# given out, I simply wouldn't send it to websites I didn't trust. Why use my system resources, running Identity control to block websites or e-mails, when good judgments are what is needed?

Feedback will be appreciated.

Hello leoliver

You can't always be 100 % sure that it's indeed a legit website. There are a lot of phising websites that looks like a legit one for example your bank site. But I agree that with common sense the chance that you are becoming a victim is very small but it still exists.
If you got a keylogger on your pc and you don't have enabled identity control that kind of information can be send. If you disable this option you will not get any warning. I know that you can get your money back but prevention is always better. That was my personal opinion.

Regards
Niels
