Ok, so i have recieved an email that i have won in the beta testing.. ( SWWWEEEEEETTTTT) but i was wondering, it said i got a serial for total security and i was wondering. if it would come in the mail after i am suppose to supply my address... or if it will wind up in "My page" / "My account" on the bitdefender site..???

and also to make sure its legit.. (it looked it )lol

I don't think the winners have already been announced, because as far as I am informed, the e-mails will be sent at the end of this week. Correct me if I'm wrong.

From which mail address was that mail send? Check also the mail headers. In outlook you have to do this first open that message after that go to view,options,you will the headers now. Read this link. You must find a domain registered in Romania .ro or @bitdefender.com or something similar. To check headers in outlook express double click also on the mail go to file,properties,details. You will the header there.

The mail lis legit. I should have receive an e-mail too, but I haven't yet. That's why I wasn't sure if it is legit or not.

I did check the headers, and it appeared legit, but since it came "out-of-the-blue", I figured it was worth checking here.

The delivery service that they will use to send you the prize needs to have your number in case they don't find you at home, is my guess. I see nothing wrong or weird about that.

It is also to verify if the person who has that phone number is really you. So they can check that your surname is correct with the information you entered.And also the reason that Bluesprite gave. But I think that Bluesprite explanation is the most logic one.
