Hi again,

Is there any script (WMI or policy) I can run to ensure Backups will run automatically on workstations?

Hello umiwangu,

At the moment unfortunately there isn't any policy template configured to run the Backup module at a scheduled time from the management console.

Ok. Is there any way to make one manually? Or even make a WMI script to run the backup module with the correct parameters and switches...

Ideas?

Hello umiwangu,

Try it like this:

Locally on the workstation go to Advanced View, then to Backup - click on Run Now for "Start Backup Wizard" and at a certain step in the wizard you can configure to have the backup task scheduled. Unfortunately these steps need to be run manually on each workstation because there is no central update policy for this module.

Thanks!

We'll give it a go.
