- can i deploy BBC on windows serer 2003 servers ? i tried to deploy it, but it keeps give me Fatal error.
- how to know what the error code mean ?

The BBC product is not compatible with Windows Server 2003 - this is why it will return the "Fatal error during install" message upon deploy. The product that you would need to deploy on those machines is BitDefender for File Servers, but in order to do so you would need 2 things:
- a license key for Management Server that includes also BitDefender for File Servers - in case you do not have this, the product will be deployed as a 30 days trial that is exactly the same as the purchased one, only it will expire after 30 days;
- a server add-on for the Management Console that can be downloaded here:

After installing the add-on you will have in the Deployment tool the package BitDefender for File Servers.

I got the license and installed the add-on, everything is working fine now.. but there is a strange thing happening, I keep getting on the Management dashboard that around X products have encountered (un)install errors since... and the Error Message is : Install: Fatal error during installation. even the pc's and serves in the list already have the BBC installed on them, I think that the server is keep trying to deploy them even they are already deployed. I checked the Automatic Deployment and it is disabled. how should I stop the server from trying to deploy those clients ?

Try to check in order to see if the machine where that error message is generated is in a group that has a BitDefender Business Client policy assigned to it. If that is the case then the management server is going to try to install BBC onto that machine in order to apply that policy.

I only have the update policies applied on the groups, no other polices.

When you create a new policy in the BitDefender Console, in Create New Policies you will have different types of templates : Management Agent Templates, Business Client Templates, BitDefender File Server Templates and so on.
If you assign a Business Client policy to a group that has clients with both Windows XP/Vista and Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 the console will try to install Business Client on all these machines and because it is not compatible with Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 it will return the error message "Fatal error during install".

I deleted the polices and recreated them again, and assigned them again for the groups, it seems working fine now.
