Anyone know why BD 10 AV Paid version crashes after each update? BUT! BD 10 FREE AV DOES NOT!

So, are there some known, default settings for the free BD which I could use on the paid BD AV just prior to an update to avoid the crash? The sockspy.dll (Correct name of file?) is unregistered prior to an update and the re-registered after the update.

Anyone have some suggestions?
