Running BDIS 2008 on Vista x64 for months. When I got to my work machine on the morning of Jan 12, no applications could connect to the internet. I tried resetting the current profile, and finally did an uninstall/reinstall with no change. I even manually added Firefox 3.0.5 and it still wouldn't connect.

I e-mailed support <at> bitdefender, and the reply was instructions to install BDIS 2009. I replied back that I wasn't interested in updating (I tried BDIS 2009 once and didn't like it) and could they please help fix BDIS 2008. That was on the 13th. I haven't heard back.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with BDIS 2008 or know what is happening or (more importantly) how to fix? I've been 2 weeks now with no firewall.
