Hi,

Todays scan came up with a couple of interesting deletions or files that were tagged as trojans and then deleted.

One of them was Acronis' Trueimagemonitor.exe. This must be a false positive?? Anyone??

Well here is a copy of my logs:

Dear user,
If the file is legitimate, detection should be fixed with within a few hours. If detection still reoccurs, please try and obtain a copy of the file TrueImageMonitor.exe and attach it to a new post.
Thank you for your report.

Bitdefender 2009 and 2008 both report these files of being trojans. I scanned them with other Antivirus software such as Kapersky and F-secure and were clean. These files include Acronis' Trueimagemonitor.exe and the popular 'Coretemp.exe' core temperature monitoring utility.

So I have uploaded them here for review.

Thank you.

Topics merged.
Detection for trueimagemonitor.exe has already been fixed.
Coretemp.exe should no longer be detected in a few hours.
Thank you for reporting. Have a nice day.
