unsure.gif Hi. I have 2 computers in my home. One is for everyday use family stuff email pictures, surf ect. The other is used ONLY! for online sim racing. My home computer is hooked to cable and I have a Linksys Wireless G router hooked to it. My sim racing computer is in another part of my home and connects to the wireless G via an on board Realtek WiFi (WLAN) I have Bitdefender Game Safe installed on it. Heres where the problem is!!Even reading in the manual it states that WLAN connections are untrusted. I understand the concept, BUT! Iam not at a public place Iam at home. Bitdefender says that I must make this a secure network before I can allow it into my trusted zone. I have tried all day to fiqure out how to make it secure but Iam starting to see that I cant???? So Iam stuck!! How do I fix this??? Someone suggested turning off my stealth mode. BAD! idea,as it shows internet security problem and says to fix. All I want to do is race online Starting to think this is a big waste of time? CAN ONE OF YOU HELP???? PLEASE
Rsenic
yes, the fix is to turn the Wireless Zone into a Trusted one. You can do this from the Zones tab (last one) in the Firewall module in Settings. Double left click on the Wireless network (which should have red untrusted in the right part) and select Trusted instead of Untrusted. Click on Ok/Apply, then close the bd windows and check if the issue still occurs.
