At end of road. Bit Defender support is very slow. BD Support request for system info impossible to send because Gmail and Hotmail will not process 'executable files".
My problem is simply that Bit Defender will not update. I have been a user for 2 years and never a problem...I now have the same issue on both my laptop and desk top.
I have tried the 'repair' function but no solution. Can any forum member suggest a solution to this problem?
Bit Defender support response time is not good.

I had the same problem as you did two days ago. I'll bet there's a bug in an update. I opened the main window of BitDefender and it showed two problems, one that I needed to update and the other than my Real Time Protection was disabled. I asked it to update, but the software didn't respond. I checked my Real Time Protection and IT WAS enabled, so the warning was false and still hasn't resolved itself.
I fixed the update problem by rebooting my pc and opened BD again. Asked it to update; kept playing with it. Finally it did update. Just keep trying. I've had this software for a year now and like it very nice. This is the first problem I've had with it. There must be something wrong with a recent update. Try and be patient. You should get your answer soon. Hang in there.
