Hi, I recently installed Total Security 2009 on Vista Ultimate, with SP1.
During virus scan the computer jumps to the blue screen of death and reboots. With the event viewer I can see the error which has occured: Event ID 6008, unexpected shutdown This happens only while scanning for virusses, and happens with all the various scan options(deep, full or quick system scan). I did not have this problem with Total Security 2008. Any ideas to fix this problem ???? Regards Hankman. |

That usually happens when you have another antivirus or antispyware(RARELY) program installed. If so uninstall it. Hope this works!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This post has been edited by mafia1: Nov 9 2008, 10:51 PM |
