 Scan Takes 4 Hours- Still No Land In Sight |

Scan of my system takes now 4 hours and is still scanning for rootkits. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) The system is VERY slow during the rootkit scan! I'm not able to open notepad! A system scan always results in the same problem. Is this a know issue? To you know a solution?
