Will BitDefender Total Security 2008 replace BitDefender Internet Security, or we’ll have both packages?

Hello,

There will be three of them Antivirus, Internet Security and Total Security 2008.

Hopefully it will release by the time I sleep for the day. (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Does this mean:

1) Prices will rise for the Internet Security and Total Security edition?
2) Will the Internet Security edition replace BitDefender Professional Plus/AntiVirus Plus, or is the AV Plus line going to be discontinued?

Hehe, will be interesting to test this new version though. Also have quite a load of samples waiting to be sent for analysis (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hello,
You can create an account here http://beta.bitdefender.com/totalsecurity and download and test BitDefender for yourself. You can miss a lot of things in the screenshots ,you can see more if you test it, it's free . (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

P.S : A safe way of testing Software is to use VMware.

thank you for the tips. I have already registered there. Hope I'll have time to test. I was asking this because of my bad experience with BD 10 Beta testing. (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I've looked into all BD 2008 internal releases and it seems they have made a good work for a Beta. I've tested them on VMware to be sure it can't happen anything. In the past week they fixed a lot of things, so it seems they do a good work. This last release is the one i haven't tested but I've tested the one that was available in the morning and seemed OK. Did you people saw the new Features?what do you think about?

Hi, Rudi!

I installed it and I have to say that I already found a couple of bugs. They aren't big bugs which can cause system instability or something like that.

Here are my first impressions:

1. GUI: Cool, there had to be made a change (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

About the rest I'll let you know tomorrow (oops... (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) today, after a good nap ).

PS: Rudi, I really hope nothing will happend, because I installed it directly on my PC (I don't use VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC...). I hope the scan engine is working well (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
