I had problems installing SP XP3 with Bitdefender ISS. I tried disabling everything including registry protection. I finally uninstalled it using the Uninstaller and the installation of XP3 went without a hitch (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . Haven't reinstalled Bitdefender yet. My Avira Premium is working too well. I got a free 6 month key, it runs great... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

P.S. Up til the XP SP3 fiasco Bitdefender ISS was running well also. I'll probably reinstall in the next few days since the settings are saved. Avira AV is fine but Bitdefender gives me the whole shebang, firewall, av etc... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Hello,
I needed to reinstall BDIS2008 after the upgrade to XP SP3 .
Now I see that BDIS2008 is NOT starting automatically after reboot.
I have to start it manually.
I found 1 service set to manual in the XP services ; Bitdefender Threat Scanner is not set to start (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) automatically. When I try to set it to Automatic it says access denied ...??????
All other services are set to automatic .
How to solve??
Thanks in advance.
