Bitdefender 2009 Beta Testing!, Be the first to test BitDefender 2009! Options

BUCHAREST, Romania – May 7, 2008 – BitDefender®, a global provider of award-winning antivirus software and data security solutions, announced today that BitDefender Total Security 2009 will be available for beta testing soon.

Available mid-May, users that wish to test the beta product can subscribe on beta.bitdefender.com. Those who register will receive e-mail notification of the availability of the first beta kit.
The beta version of BitDefender Total Security 2009 includes an enhanced feature set:

• Online Backup: BitDefender 2009 offers users the ability to backup sensitive data online to ensure it is secure if something goes wrong – like your computer is stolen or a hard drive failure. The BitDefeder Beta Center has been changed for better usability. You can now see you own submitted issues, the know issues, the top beta testers and other things.

Anyways... There is a request. Last time I was supposed to get this 1year license and a game for beta testing... But the shipping company charged me way above the market price of BitDefender in Bangladesh. So (though not sure if I will be eligible this time) an alternative option to get the license would be great... Maybe via email... I was so interested in that license last time....

Looks nice, but there seems to be a small "bug" in these 2 screenshots, because they just don't "fit" with each other.

Look at the one on the left and at the one on the right... the Dashboard tab is placed differently, and also it has a different layout in the 2 screenshots. (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

If this is how it looks in the real build, be sure to fix this small issue before the first release. It's not very hard (it just requires a different snapshot for the BDWizard Basic View example). (IMG:http://forum.bitdefender.com/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
