Hi josy1982

You can use the rescue cd which include linuxdefender :
http://download.bitdefender.com/rescue_cd/...CD_v1.6.2-4.iso But it's only a bootable version so you will not be protected when you are in linux.
Here I found also links to a linux version of BitDefender:
http://download.bitdefender.com/unices/old...der-console/en/

That's all what I can find.

Regards
Niels

Hi josy1982

I must say that I don't work for Softwin (BitDefender). I think that why they don't release new versions is because not many people use Linux and also that there aren't many malware that is written for Linux. Only LinuxDefender is a more recent version. But I think that you wanted an antivirus that always protects you.

What Niels posted there is a free version of BitDefender Linux in console.
There is also a paid version for linux that you can see here: http://www.bitdefender.com/PRODUCT-80-en--...for-Unices.html

BitDefender Antivirus Scanner for Unices is free for home/personal use, you can get a free license key from here:
http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Products/ScannerLicense/
but you'll have to pay for it if used for business purposes.

you can get the install kit (with a 30 days eval key), docs and other stuff from here:
http://download.bitdefender.com/unices/bdscan/final/en/
