I've done the initial download of BitDefender Internet Security 2013. When I try run it, I get an error message "This product requires an internet connection in order to install. Please check your connection settings and try again." I'm on the internet, checking my email via this browser when I receive this message.

Why can't Bitdefender 2013 see my internet connection and use it?

How do I get past this problem so I can get Bitdefender 2013 up and running?

If you use the offline installer, make sure that you choose No when you are prompted to download the latest files from the server.

The latest updates will be installed after the installation via Automatic Updates.
