Hello (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Welcome back! If you leave the Auto Pilot turned on, the Auto Scan will automatically scan your PC. We also recommend you to run a Full System Scan once a month. Take care. |

Hi,
so the autoscan (or continuous scan) mode scans only for viruses, correct? Should I need to scan for other malware (rootkits, spyware etc) I must run the full scan manually anyway? Thank you for clarifying. |

Hello (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Actually the term "virus" is incorrectly used in these days. The correct one is "malware" which describes all known malicious software. And Bitdefender is checking for malware during all types of scans. Have a great day! |
